RIU is conscious of this andmakes every effort tominimize its impact through an active envi- ronmental policy, developed through diverse initiatives such as savings in energy and water consumption, wastemanagement, paper recycling and noise control.

DE Es ist offensichtlich, dass das Hotelgew- erbe die Umwelt beeinträchtigt. RIU bemüht sich deshalb bewußt, negative Auswirkungen mittels einer aktiven Umweltpolitik zumini- mieren, bei der verschiedenen Initativen zum Einsatz kommen, z.B. Energie- undWasser- sparprogramme, Mülltrennung, Recycling von Papier und Lärmkontrolle.

ES Es obvio que la actividad hotelera tiene su impacto en el medio ambiente. RIU lo sabe y de ahí que intenteminimizarlo con una activa políticamedioambiental que desarrolla a través de diversas iniciativas tales como el ahorro de energía y agua, la gestión de residuos, el reciclaje de papel y el control de ruidos.
