It is difficult to believe that somuch culture can be offered in the 0.036 square kilometres of Museum Island. Located in the centre of Berlin, the island offers a journey through the history of art courtesy of fivemuseums, displaying cultural treasures such as the Nefertiti Bust and the Gates of Babylon as well as a host of 19th-century Ger- man paintings and sculptures. This area is also the location of Berlin Cathedral, a breathtaking Neo-classical building.

Kaum zu glauben, wie viel Kultur man auf 36 Quadratmetern konzentrieren kann! Die Insel liegt direkt imZentrumder Stadt und bietet in fünf Museen einen Rundgang durch die Kunstgeschichte. Hier findet man z. B. die Büste der Nofretete, babylonische Tore und Skulpturen und viele deutsche Gemälde aus dem 19. Jahr- hundert. Auch der beeindruckende neuklassi- sche Domvon Berlin befindet sich hier.

Parecementira que en los 0,036 kilómetros cuadrados que ocupa la Isla de los Museos de Berlín pueda entrar tanta cultura. Situada en el centro de la ciudad, la ínsula ofrece un reco- rrido por la historia del Arte a través de cinco museos, con grandes piezas como el busto de Nefertiti, puertas babilónicas o esculturas y pinturas del siglo XIX alemán. Además, el espacio acoge también la Catedral de Berlín, un edificio neoclásico que impresiona solo con acercarse.
