EN In July 2013, the Hotel Riu Yucatan reo- pened after extensive refurbishment. Since its inauguration in 1997, when it became the chain’s first hotel in Mexico, it has established itself as a firm favourite among families. Its All Inclusive 24-hour service, full programme of activities and location on the beachfront in the heart of the Maya Riviera are surely the reasons why. The new Riu Yucatán has 507 bright, renovated rooms, as well as fresher, more modern public areas, which are in harmony with the open green areas. Its restaurants, the buffet La Hacienda, the Asian Shangai, the La Margarita grill and the Mexican restaurant (located in the Beach Club of the ClubHotel Riu Tequila) now includes a newcomer, the Italian eatery Sicilia. The newly-refurbished hotel has three fresh water pools, an aquatic bar, a chill out area, a playpark and the Club RiuLand for children, as well as a gym and Jacuzzi for adults.

DE Nach einer umfassenden Renovierung öffnete das Hotel Riu Yucatán im Juli 2013 wieder seine Pforten. Seit es 1997 als erstes Hotel der Hotelkette in Mexiko eröffnet wurde, ist es besonders bei Fa- milien beliebt „Schuld“ daran sind unter anderem sein 24h All inclusive Angebot, sein umfangreiches Unterhaltungsprogramm und seine Lage direkt am Strand, mitten an der Riviera Maya. Das neue Riu Yucatán verfügt über 507 helle, renovierte Zimmer sowie über modern gestaltete öffentliche Bereiche, die mit den ausgedehn- ten Grünanlagen harmonieren. Neben dem Buffetrestaurant „La Hacienda“, dem asiatischen Restaurant „Shangai“, dem Grillrestaurant „La Margarita“ und demmexikanischen Restau- rant (im Beach Club des ClubHotels Riu Tequila gelegen) gibt es jetzt mit dem „Sicilia“ auch ein italienisches Restaurant. Nach der Renovierung hat das Hotel drei Süßwasser-Pools, eine Poolbar, einen „Chill Out“ Bereich, einen Kinderpool mit Rutschen sowie den RiuLand-Club für Kinder, ein Fitnesscenter und ein Jacuzzi für Erwachsene.

Desde que se inaugurara en 1997 y se convirtiera en el primer hotel de la cadena en México, el establecimiento es uno de los favo- ritos entre las familias. Su oferta Todo Incluido 24h, su extenso programa de actividades y su ubicación en primera línea de mar en plena Riviera Maya tienen buena parte de ‘la culpa’. El nuevo Riu Yucatan dispone de 507 luminosas y renovadas habitaciones, así como áreas públi- cas más frescas y modernas, en sintonía con sus extensas áreas verdes. A sus restaurantes bufé ‘La Hacienda’, el asiático ‘Shangai’, el grill ‘La Margarita’, el mexicano (localizado en el Beach Club del ClubHotel Riu Tequila), se une ahora otro nuevo, el italiano ‘Sicilia’. Después de la reforma, el hotel dispone de tres piscinas de agua dulce, bar acuático, zona “Chill Out”, parque infantil y club RiuLand para los niños, y gimnasio y jacuzzi para los adultos.
