ES En lo personal, sus ocho décadas han estado plagadas de luces y sombras. Pese a que Allen llegó a definir a su familia, judía y de origen ruso-austríaco, como “burguesa, bien alimentada y bien vestida”, su infancia en Brooklyn estuvo marcada por las continuas mudanzas y la ida y venida de familiares: “Eran tiempos agitados, en parte debido a circuns- tancias económicas y en parte por la escasez de viviendas en tiempos de guerra”. Seine aufsehenerregende Trennung von der Schauspielerin Mia Farrow und seine spätere Beziehung mit deren Adoptivtochter Soon-Yi füllten Anfang der 90er die Titelseiten der Regenbogenpresse. Doch auch wenn die Klagen, Anschuldigungen und Verfahren der beiden Parteien im Laufe all dieser Jahre kein Ende nahmen, so gelang es Allen doch, sie hinreichend auszublenden, so dass sie seine renommierte Karriere nicht berührten, von der niemand weiß, wohin sie noch führen wird…
