ES Los sismos registrados el 7 y 19 de septiembre de 2017 en México, afectaron gravemente a más de 10.000 escuelas ubicadas en Ciudad de México, Chiapas, Morelos y Puebla, estados que concentran una población de 7 millones de niños. Ante esta trágica situación y para paliar las necesidades más urgentes dirigidas a la infancia en materia de educación y protección, RIU Hotels & Resorts decidió apoyar una vez más a UNICEF, organización con gran experiencia en emergencias en todo el mundo, con una donación de 400.000 dólares. Esta aportación de la cadena hotelera ha contribuido a la instalación de 100 aulas temporales en los estados de Chiapas y Puebla; unas escuelas en las que 4.000 niños, niñas y adolescentes han podido reanudar su educación de inmediato, en buenas condiciones y con garantías de seguridad e higiene, mientras se reconstruyen sus colegios locales muy dañados por los terremotos.

EN The earthquakes that shook Mexico on 7 and 19 September 2017 had a devastating impact on over 10,000 schools in Mexico City, Chiapas, Morelos and Puebla, states that are home to around seven million children. In light of this tragic situation and to address the need for education and care for children, RIU Hotels & Resorts donated US $400,000 to UNICEF, an organisation with extensive experience in dealing with international emergencies. The donation has helped fund 100 temporary classrooms in the states of Chiapas and Puebla, allowing 4,000 children and teenagers to immediately continue their education in comfortable conditions that guarantee their safety and hygiene while their local schools, which were heavily damaged by the earthquakes, are rebuilt.

In den betroffenen Regionen leben ungefähr 7 Millionen Kinder. Angesichts dieser tragischen Situation und um den dringendsten Bedürfnissen der Kinder hinsichtlich Bildung und Schutz zu entsprechen, beschloss RIU Hotels & Resorts mit einer Spende von 400.000 Dollar ein weiteres Mal UNICEF zu unterstützen - eine Organisation mit viel Erfahrung in Notfällen weltweit. Die Spende der Hotelkette trug zur Einrichtung von 100 temporären Klassenzimmern in Chiapas und Puebla bei; Schulen in gutem Zustand, die Sicherheit und hygienische Bedingungen garantieren und in denen 4.000 Kinder und Jugendliche sofort mit dem Unterricht fortfahren konnten, während ihre durch die Erdbeben schwer beschädigten örtlichen Schulen wieder aufgebaut werden.
