COFFEE AND A CAT KATZEN STREICHELN UND DAZU EINEN KAFFEE

ES Se popularizaron hace unos años de la mano de hábiles baristas que vieron en la espuma del café un lienzo para dar rienda suelta a la creatividad. Estos se valían de su destreza para realizar todo tipo de creaciones “armados” únicamente con su jarra de leche. Más tarde la tecnología salió en su ayuda con impresoras 3D capaces de personalizar los capuccinos y cafés con leche. El propio cliente podía elegir la imagen a reproducir mediante una app. Ahora la moda, conocida como Latte Art, ha llegado también a la cerveza con impresoras como Beer Ripples, que permiten decorar la espuma de esta bebida con todo tipo de motivos y de mensajes. Teniendo en cuenta que neko significa gato en idioma nipón, es fácil hacerse a la idea de la naturaleza de estos establecimientos. En ellos, los amantes de estos felinos puedan disfrutar de su desayuno o merienda mientras acarician y juegan con los gatos que residen en el local. Los humanos reciben así una cura antiestrés y a los animales, a su vez, se les proporciona un hogar en el que disponen de todos los cuidados…y ración extra de mimos. RIU dispone de Cat Cafés – áreas designadas a la alimentación y cuidado de gatos- en Riu Tikida Dunas (Agadir), Riu Touareg y Riu Karamboa (Cabo Verde) y Riu Palace Madeira, entre otros.

EN Neko Cafés originated in Japan. Given that the word neko means cat in Japanese, it’s not hard to imagine what you might find at these establishments. Lovers of our furry feline friends can enjoy their breakfast or a snack while stroking and playing with the resident moggies. The cafés are a great place for humans to destress, while the cats are assured a home where they can be spoilt every minute of the day. DE Die sogenannten Neko Cafés stammen ursprünglich aus Japan. Wenn man bedenkt, dass ‘Neko’ auf Japanisch Katze bedeutet, dann kann man sich leicht vorstellen, umwas für Lokale es sich dabei handelt. Hier können Katzenliebhaber ihr Frühstück oder ihren Kaffee genießen und gleichzeitig die Katzen, die das Café bewohnen, streicheln oder mit ihnen spielen. Die Menschen bekommen so eine Anti-Stress-Kur und den Tieren wird ihrerseits ein Ort geschaffen, an dem ihnen jegliche Fürsorge zuteil wird… und eine Extraportion Schmusen. EN They first became popular a few years ago thanks to skilful baristas who found a blank canvas on the coffees they served. Giving free rein to their creative instincts, they used their skills for all sorts of designs, armed with just a jar of milk. Later on, 3D printers made it possible to personalise cappuccinos and white coffees: customers could use an app to choose the image that would appear on the foam of their drink. Now the trend has spread to the world of beer, with printers such as Beer Ripples that allow bars to decorate the head of your pint with all sorts of patterns and messages.

DE Vor einigen Jahren wurden sie populär, geschaffen von kunstfertigen Baristas, die imMilchschaum eine Leinwand sahen, auf der sie ihrer Kreativität freien Lauf lassen konnten. Die Baristas zeichneten sich durch ihre Geschicklichkeit aus, mit der sie, einzig mit ihremMilchkännchen „bewaffnet“, allerlei Kreationen erschufen. Später kam ihnen die Technik mit 3D-Druckern zu Hilfe, mit denen man die Cappuccinos und Milchkaffees mit einem persönlichen Touch versehen konnte. Der Kunde konnte das darzustellende Bild mittels einer App selbst auswählen. Nun hat dieser als Latte Art bekannt gewordene Trend auch das Bier erreicht, mit Druckern wie “Beer Ripples”, mit denen man den Bierschaummit allerlei Motiven und Botschaften versehen kann.
