PAU GASOL

ES El genio de la canasta —un derroche de humanidad de 2,13 metros de altura y 113 kilos de peso— actualmente es presidente de la Gasol Foundation, miembro de la Comisión de Atletas del COI y Global Champion para la Nutrición y el fin de la Obesidad Infantil de UNICEF. También ha escrito dos libros: Vida (2013) y Bajo el aro (2018); y en 2021 presentó la serie documental Pau Gasol: Lo importante es el viaje. Un viaje épico, sin duda. Porque, con permiso de los dioses, su destino es el Olimpo.

EN This giant of basketball, towering some 2.13 metres high and weighing in at 113 kilograms, is currently president of the Gasol Foundation, a member of the International Olympic Committee Athletes Commission and UNICEF Global Champion for Nutrition and Zero Childhood Obesity. He has also penned two books – Life (2013) and Under the hoop (2018) – and in 2021 presented the documentary series Pau Gasol: It’s About the Journey – the epic journey of a legend destined for the heights of Mount Olympus.

DE Der Gigant des Basketballs, mit einer Größe von 2,13 Metern und einem Körpergewicht von 113 Kilo, ist aktuell Vorsitzender der Gasol Foundation, Mitglied der Athletenkommission des IOC und Global Champion für Ernährung und die Bekämpfung der Fettleibigkeit im Kindesalter von UNICEF. Auch zwei Bücher hat er geschrieben: Vida (2013, wortwörtlich: Leben) und Bajo el aro (2018, wortwörtlich: Unter dem Ring). 2021 präsentierte er die Dokumentarfilmreihe Pau Gasol: Lo importante es el viaje (Pau Gasol: Der Weg ist das Ziel). Zweifellos ein großartiger Weg. Denn wenn es die Götter so wollen, ist sein Ziel der Olymp.
