ES Toronto es la ciudad más poblada de Canadá, su centro económico y una de las urbes más vibrantes del país. Por eso, aunque no es la capital, muchos la consideran el alma urbana del país norteamericano. Aunque lo que realmente hace única a Toronto no son sus cifras, sino todo lo que puedes encontrar al recorrer cada uno de sus rincones. Porque si por algo se conoce a Toronto es por su fama de diversa, multicultural y cosmopolita. Con barrios como Chinatown, Little Italy, Koreatown o el barrio portugués, no es descabellado definir la ciudad como un continente o incluso un planeta a pequeña escala. Uno de los grandes iconos, inconfundible en el skyline de la ciudad, es la CN Tower. Sus 533 metros de altura le otorgaron durante décadas el título de edificio más alto del mundo. Ahora ya no lo es, pero eso no le ha hecho perder ni un ápice de interés entre los turistas, que siguen subiendo a su mirador para contemplar y fotografiar las mejores vistas de la ciudad.

That’s why, even though it’s not the capital, many consider it the urban soul of North America. However, what truly makes Toronto unique isn’t its size, but what you can find when you explore it. Because if Toronto is known for anything, it’s its reputation for diversity, multiculturalism, and cosmopolitanism. With neighborhoods like Chinatown, Little Italy, Koreatown, and the Portuguese Quarter, it’s reasonable to call the city as a continent or even a planet on a small scale. One of the city’s most iconic landmarks is the CN Tower, which is unmistakable in the skyline. At 533 meters tall, it held the title of the world’s tallest building for decades. It’s no longer the tallest, but it hasn’t lost any of its appeal among tourists, who continue to climb to its observation deck to take in the best views of the city.

Mit Stadtvierteln wie Chinatown, Little Italy, Koreatown oder dem portugiesischen Viertel ist es nicht abwegig, die Stadt als einen Kontinent oder sogar einen Planeten im Kleinformat zu bezeichnen. Eines der großen Wahrzeichen, das in der Skyline der Stadt unverkennbar ist, ist der CN Tower. Mit einer Höhe von 533 Metern war er jahrzehntelang das höchste Gebäude der Welt. Das ist er zwar heute nicht mehr, aber das hat seine Anziehungskraft auf Touristen nicht verringert, die weiterhin auf seine Aussichtsplattform steigen, um die schönsten Ausblicke auf die Stadt zu genießen und zu fotografieren.
