ES Aún no había amanecido en la playa de Le Morne. Miguel había oído que los amaneceres en el océano Índico eran algo espectacular. No había dormido apenas aquella noche y decidió bajar a la playa a pasear y pensar. Le hubiera gustado que Ana estuviera despierta para compartir ese momento, pero ella estaba agotada y supu- so que dormiría hasta tarde. Miguel estaba preocupado por la discusión que habían tenido la noche anterior nada más empezar su luna de miel. Estaban can- sados, habían acumulado muchas horas de sueño entre la boda y el viaje. A su llegada a Isla Mauricio estaban aún algo descolo- cados, pero Miguel se había empeñado en aprovechar cada minuto en el hotel. Disfrutaron de una romántica cena en el Ku- linarium y al anochecer insistió en bajar a la playa a escuchar la música en vivo de la que tanto había oído hablar. Bailaron y tomaron algunas copas, pero Ana estaba cada vez más cansada y deseaba ir a dormir.

EN The sun had yet to rise on Le Morne beach. Miguel had heard that the sunrises over the Indian Ocean were spectacular. He had hardly slept that night and had decided to go down to the beach for a walk to clear his head. He would have liked for Ana to have been there to share the moment, but she was exhausted and he knew she wouldn’t wake until later on. Miguel was worried about their argument the previous evening, right at the start of their honeymoon. Both had been exhausted. The wedding and the journey had really taken it out of them. Events were still catching up with them when they arrived on Mauritius, but Miguel had done his best to make the most of their time at the hotel. They enjoyed a romantic meal at Kulinarium and at sunset he insisted on going down to the beach to listen to the live music he had heard so much about. They danced and had a few drinks, but in the end, Ana’s tiredness won over and they went back to their room to sleep.

DE Noch war die Sonne am Strand von Le Morne nicht aufgegangen. Miguel hatte ge- hört, dass die Sonnenaufgänge am Indischen Ozean außergewöhnlich schön seien, aber er hatte in dieser Nacht kaum geschlafen und beschloss, zum Strand zu gehen, um einen Spaziergang zu machen und nach- zudenken. Wenn Ana wach gewesen wäre, hätte er diesen Moment gerne mit ihr ge- meinsam genossen, doch sie war erschöpft und er nahm an, dass sie an diesem Vormit- tag lange schlafen würde. Miguel machte sich Sorgen wegen des Streits, den sie am Vorabend gehabt hatten. Ihre Flitterwochen hatten gerade erst begon- nen. Sie waren müde und hatten zwischen Hochzeit und Reise nur wenig geschlafen. Als sie auf Mauritius ankamen, waren sie noch etwas durcheinander, aber Miguel hatte sich alle Mühe gegeben, damit sie jede Minute im Hotel genießen konnten.
