ES RIU Hotels & Resorts ha adquirido un edificio en una de las mejores zonas de Londres donde, tras una completa reforma, abrirá un hotel de su línea urbana Riu Plaza. El edificio se ubica en el número 1 de Neathouse Place, justo al lado de la Estación Victoria, la catedral de Westminster y el Palacio de Buckingham. El futuro hotel Riu Plaza de Londres se convertirá a finales de 2020 en el primero de la cadena hotelera en Reino Unido, un país que representa un alto porcentaje de la clientela de RIU en Caribe y España, y donde la cadena llevaba tiempo buscando la oportunidad idónea para expandir su marca de hoteles de ciudad. El hotel que RIU proyecta tendrá categoría 4 estrellas, 350 habitaciones y estará orientado sobre todo a los clientes que visitan Londres para disfrutar de unas vacaciones explorando la ciudad. El edificio fue construido originalmente en los años 60 y completamente renovado en 1997. El futuro hotel de RIU conservará la estructura y los mejores elementos del inmueble y hará una transformación completa del interior teniendo en cuenta el diseño y confort, así como las últimas tendencias en eficiencia energética y operación sostenible. El hotel contará con restaurante y bar, así como una terraza al aire libre, algo poco común en el centro de la ciudad.

EN RIU Hotels & Resorts has acquired a prime location in London. The property is currently being refurbished and the hotel will be the newest addition to the Riu Plaza line-up when work is complete. Located at 1 Neathouse Place, the hotel is close to Victoria Station, Westminster Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. At the end of 2020, Riu Plaza London will become the chain’s first hotel in the United Kingdom, a country that is home to a large percentage of RIU’s customers in the Caribbean and Spain. The company has been looking for an opportunity to expand its brand of city hotels for a while now. The planned four-star hotel will have 350 rooms and is aimed at guests visiting London for holidays who want to explore the city. The 1960s property was fully refurbished in 1997. Riu Plaza London will retain the structure and best features of the building while the inside will undergo a full transformation. The interior will focus on design and comfort, incorporating the latest developments in energy efficiency and sustainable operation. The hotel will also have a restaurant, bar and outdoor terrace, a rarity in central London.

DE RIU Hotels & Resorts hat ein Gebäude in einem der besten Viertel von London erworben, in dem nach umfassenden Umbaumaßnahmen ein Stadthotel der Linie Riu Plaza eröffnen wird. Das Gebäude befindet sich am Neathouse Place 1, neben dem Bahnhof Victoria Station und ganz in der Nähe derWestminster Cathedral und des Buckingham Palace. Das künftige Hotel Riu Plaza in London wird Ende 2020 das erste Haus der Hotelkette in Großbritannien werden - einem Land, aus dem ein großer Teil der Gäste von RIU in der Karibik und in Spanien kommt und wo das Unternehmen schon seit Längerem auf der Suche nach der passenden Gelegenheit war, seine Stadthotellinie zu erweitern. Das von RIU geplante Hotel wird ein 4-Sterne-Hotel sein, über 350 Zimmer verfügen und besonders auf Gäste ausgerichtet sein, die London für einen Städteurlaub besuchen. Das Gebäude stammt ursprünglich aus den 60er Jahren und wurde 1997 komplett renoviert. Im künftigen RIU-Hotel bleiben die Struktur und die besten Elemente des Gebäudes erhalten, während das Interieur komplett umgestaltet wird. Hierbei wird ein besonderes Augenmerk auf Design und Komfort gelegt, sowie auf die neuesten Entwicklungen in den Bereichen Energieeffizienz und Nachhaltigkeit. Das Hotel wird über ein Restaurant und eine Bar sowie über eine Außenterrasse verfügen, was im Londoner Stadtzentrum eher ungewöhnlich ist.
