LOS ROBOTS SON YA (CASI) DE LA FAMILIA

ES Hace tiempo que los introdujimos en nuestra casa para que nos ayudaran a cocinar, a mantener limpias las estancias y en otras tareas en el hogar. Pero los robots han comenzado a cumplir otros muchos más cometidos en los hogares. Monitorizar la salud de los miembros de la familia, enseñar inglés a los niños o mantenernos entretenidos e informados son algunos de los cometidos de los autómatas de compañías punteras en esta materia. Una de ellas es la japonesa Nuwa Robotics, creadora de Kebbi, un perrito robot que a su capacidad de saltar, bailar o contar historias suma la de reconocer el rostro y la voz de cada uno de los miembros de la familia. Además de obedecer órdenes, esta función le permite detectar a los intrusos y avisar del posible peligro, algo por lo que ya se le conoce como el robot niñera.

EN Robots have been in our homes for quite some time now, helping us cook and keep our rooms clean, as well as with other household tasks. However, they have gradually begun to creep into other areas of our domestic life. Monitoring the health of members of our families, teaching English to children and entertaining and keeping us up-to-date with the news are just some of the tasks of the robots produced by cutting-edge companies working in the field. One such company is the Japanese firm Nuwa Robotics, which has created Kebbi, a robotic puppy, which, in addition to being able to jump, dance and tell stories, is able to recognise the faces and voices of different family members. It also obeys orders, allowing it to detect intruders and warn of danger. Perhaps that’s why it has earned the nickname the nanny robot.

DE Vor einiger Zeit haben wir sie in unseren Häusern aufgenommen, damit sie uns beim Kochen, beim Putzen und bei anderen Arbeiten im Haushalt helfen. Doch die Roboter übernehmen inzwischen noch viele weitere Aufgaben im Haushalt. Die Gesundheit der Familienmitglieder zu überwachen, den Kindern Englisch beizubringen oder uns zu unterhalten und zu informieren sind Beispiele für Aufgaben dieser Automaten, die von führenden Unternehmen in diesem Bereich entwickelt wurden. Eine davon ist die japanische Firma Nuwa Robotics. Sie entwarf Kebbi, einen Roboterhund, der nicht nur springen, tanzen oder Geschichten erzählen, sondern auch Gesicht und Stimme eines jeden Familienmitglieds erkennen kann. Dank dieser Funktion kann er nicht nur Befehlen gehorchen, sondern auch Eindringlinge identifizieren und vor der möglichen Gefahr warnen, was ihm bereits den Spitznamen Ninja-Roboter eingetragen hat.
