EN “Sun, sea and sand, but above all the people; they’re so friendly and approachable.” These are the highlights of Lanzarote for Maurice, a retired Englishman from Bristol who has been visiting the volcanic island with his wife twice a year for 15 years. His favourite part of the hotel is the restaurant: “the atmosphere is fabulous and really welcoming. You can dine together or on your own. As well as the activities organised by the RIU team, Maurice likes to “find a quiet spot at the hotel to read.” However, before he gets his head down into his book, he’s planning to enjoy one of the fruit platters, which he loves not just for the flavour, but also for the selection and the care that goes into their preparation. DE „Die Sonne, der Sand, der Strand und vor allem die Menschen, die sehr freundlich, herzlich und liebenswürdig sind“. Diese Dinge schätzt Maurice, ein Engländer im Ruhestand aus Bristol, an Lanzarote besonders. Seit fünfzehn Jahren kommt er zweimal im Jahr mit seiner Frau auf diese Vulkaninsel. Maurice gefällt ebenso das Restaurant im Hotel: „Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und einladend. Man kann hier in Gesellschaft oder auch allein essen.“ Er mag die Aktivitäten, die das Animationsteam organisiert, und er liest gerne „in einer ruhigen Ecke des Hotels.“ Bevor er sich in die Lektüre vertieft, bedient er sich gerne beim Obst. Er liebt nicht nur den fabelhaften Geschmack, sondern auch die Vielfalt und das sorgfältige Arrangement der Früchte. de animación, le gusta leer “en alguna zona tranquila del hotel”. Del hotel se queda con el restaurante, “un lugar que, además de encantador y acogedor, me ofrece la posibilidad de comer en compañía o solo”.
