EN Thirty years ago, Norbert Walter and his company team played in a company soccer league. They won the competition that year, and the prize couldn’t have been better: a weekend in Mallorca with his fellow football players. The accommodation: Riu Playa Park. “It was wonderful,” says Norbert at the reception of a hotel to which he has returned several times every year since then. “Three days of fun, swimming pool, beach and sun, lots of sun. I felt so comfortable that I started coming back every time I could take a vacation. I’ve always felt like I’m with family here.” And then came retirement: “This is the best invention ever. Now I can go to Riu Playa Park whenever I want. I like to come in May and October, because my taste is more relaxed now. I come back feeling refreshed: I’ve rested, I’ve enjoyed the good weather, I’ve swum in the pool, I’ve done a bit of exercise... I know the names of the hotel staff and they all know mine.” DE Vor dreißig Jahren spielte Norbert Walter mit seinem Firmenteam in einer betrieblichen Fußballliga. In jenem Jahr gewannen sie den Wettbewerb und der Preis hätte nicht besser sein können: ein Wochenende auf Mallorca mit seinen Mannschaftskameraden. Die Unterkunft: Riu Playa Park. „Es war wunderbar“, sagt Norbert an der Rezeption des Hotels, in das er seither mehrmals im Jahr wiederkommt. „Drei Tage Spaß, Pool, Strand und Sonne, viel Sonne. Ich habe mich so wohl gefühlt, dass ich immer wieder zurückkam, wenn ich Urlaub machen konnte. Ich hatte immer das Gefühl, dass ich hier in einer Familie bin.“ Und dann kam der Ruhestand: „Das ist die beste Erfindung überhaupt. Jetzt kann ich in das Riu Playa Park reisen, wann immer ich will. Am liebsten komme ich im Mai und Oktober, weil es dann für meinen Geschmack ruhiger ist. Und wenn ich nach Hause komme, bin ich wie neu. Ich bin ausgeruht, habe das gute Wetter genossen, bin im Pool geschwommen, habe ein bisschen Sport getrieben ... Ich kenne die Namen der Hotelangestellten und sie kennen alle meinen.“ ES “Hace treinta años, Norbert Walter jugaba en una liga de fútbol laboral con el equipo de su empresa. Ese año, ganaron la competición y el premio no podía ser mejor: un fin de semana en Mallorca con sus compañeros de pachangas. El alojamiento: Riu Playa Park. “Fue maravilloso”, cuenta Norbert en la recepción de un hotel al que, desde entonces, vuelve varias veces todos los años. “Tres días de diversión, piscina, playa y sol, muchísimo sol. Me sentí tan cómodo que empecé a venir cada vez que podía tomarme unas vacaciones. Aquí siempre me he sentido en familia”. Y llegó la jubilación: “Es el mejor invento que existe. Ahora puedo viajar al Riu Playa Park cuando quiero. Me gusta venir en mayo y octubre, porque mis gustos ahora son más tranquilos. Vuelvo como nuevo: he descansado, disfrutado del buen tiempo, nadado en la piscina, hecho un poco de ejercicio… Conozco el nombre de los empleados del hotel y todos saben el mío”...
