EN Sascha and Louisa Leuverink grin from ear to ear when they see Roberto. The Riu Playa Park entertainer is an old friend. They play sports in the pool or learn to dance the bachata with him. The father, a chemist from Dortmund, Germany, and his daughter, a 12-year-old student, come to Mallorca every year. Louisa has photos of moments on the island that she can’t remember because she was a baby. “Why do we always come back to the Riu Playa Park? Because everyone has a smile on their face and they pass it on to you,” explains Verena, the mother. She used to come to Mallorca with friends when she was young, then with Sascha, and since her daughter was born, as a family. “This hotel, with such a perfect beach and the city so close, is perfect. The renovation has made it even better. It’s our second home when we’re away from Dortmund. And of course, the weather is better here.” DE Sascha und Louisa Leuverink haben ein breites Lächeln auf dem Gesicht, als sie Roberto sehen. Der Animateur des Riu Playa Park ist ein alter Freund. Sie treiben mit ihm Sport im Pool oder lernen Bachata zu tanzen. Der Vater, ein Chemiker aus Dortmund, und seine Tochter, eine zwölfjährige Schülerin, reisen jedes Jahr nach Mallorca. Louisa hat Fotos von Momenten auf der Insel, an die sie sich nicht erinnern kann, weil sie damals noch ein Baby war. „Warum wir immer wieder ins Riu Playa Park zurückkommen? Weil hier jeder ein Lächeln im Gesicht hat und das ansteckend ist“, erklärt Mutter Verena. Als sie jung war, reiste sie mit Freundinnen nach Mallorca, dann mit Sascha und seit der Geburt ihrer Tochter mit der ganzen Familie. „Dieses Hotel, mit einem so idealen Strand und der Stadt in der Nähe, ist einfach perfekt. Die Renovierung hat es noch besser gemacht. Es ist unser zweites Zuhause, wenn wir nicht in Dortmund sind. La reforma lo ha dejado aún mejor. Es nuestra segunda casa cuando estamos lejos de Dortmund. Además, aquí el clima es mejor, claro”. ES A Sascha y a Louisa se les dibuja una sonrisa de oreja a oreja al ver a Roberto. El animador del Riu Playa Park es un viejo amigo. Con él hacen deporte en la piscina o aprenden a bailar bachata. Padre, químico de Dortmund, e hija, estudiante de doce años, viajan todos los años a Mallorca.
