EN Music can be heard all over London. It is not uncommon to wander through the British capital and end up in a street, establishment or building that has served as the inspiration, stage or home to some of the most iconic singers and bands in the history of music, especially in the second half of the 20th century. London was the city that gave birth to legendary rock and pop bands such as The Rolling Stones, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Sex Pistols and Blur, just to name a few. Hence, among the many ways to tour the city, there is one of special interest for music lovers: the one that runs through streets or venues linked to the history of music. A must on this tour is the famous Abbey Road crosswalk, located in the Camden district. That’s where The Beatles were photographed for the cover of their eighth album, which bears the same name as the street. Although Ringo, Paul, John, and George were not from the British capital but from Liverpool, it is in that city where they recorded almost all their records, at the mythical Abbey Road studios. To this day, the zebra crossing continues to be a place of pilgrimage for thousands of fans of the band, who cannot resist being photographed while crossing it, just as their idols did more than half a century ago.
